Dog For Sale
* Free to good home.
* Excellent guard dog.
* Owner cannot afford to feed him anymore, as there are no more thieves, murderers, or molesters left in the neighborhood for him to eat.
* Most of them knew him as ‘Holy Shit‘

Oh, this is cool, viewing flicker user uploads from around the globe, live as they’re uploaded!
Very clever – superimposed over a map of the world, which scrolls, pictures pop up in real time. Nice way to spend the afternoon, spying on flickr uploaders don’t you think?
Grab your favorite beverage, sit back and enjoy the show.
update: oh, nice nice nice, check out the 3D view and watch the globe spin as pictures pop in! Cool
This just in from The Sentinal, Montana Governor is against the proposed Real ID, supposed to take affect in May. In this interview, the governor explains how the house was unanimously 150 against the new ID cards.
The Real ID is supposedly supposed to make Americans safer, but just takes them one step closer to a National ID and then a world ID.
The NYTimes, in a January 12, 2008 story says
The federal government issued national standards on Friday that states would have to meet in order for driver’s licenses they issue to qualify as identification at airports and federal buildings, setting the stage for a confrontation with states that have voted not to cooperate.
I was just wondering earlier when the US was going to remove “land of the free” from the lyrics of their national anthem seeing as how they keep allowing their government to make policies that take away their freedoms.
Is it just me, or do the citizens of the United States just not get it? My opinion? they’re watching too much tv and simply tuning out while they’re tuning in.

I’m one of the biggest Survivor fans and this season’s Survivor Micronesia is no exception. I don’t watch TV, but rather download the episodes via my bitTorrent client and then watch them the next day or a few days later when I’ve got the time. After episode 5 of Fans vs Favorites, I got to thinking about the best survivor quotes.
Episode 5 of Survivor Micronesia had the tribes merge, the earliest they’ve ever merged. Tribes were chosen schoolyard style and Joel ended up with his least favorite team mate Chet, yet again.
During the reward challenge, Joel and Chet were “tied” together and had to chase two other players through a complex obstacle course. Chet was tied behind Joel by a length of rope of about 3 to 4 feet.
Joel “Mac Truck” Anderson pretty much dragged Chet through the course and in the first “collision” pulled him over an obstacle landing him face first into the mud. Moments later Chet fell and Joel dragged him into a post where he hit his head. They kept going, Joel continueing to drag Chet.
They didn’t catch their prey and the team lost the challenge.
Moments after finishing, this short conversation took place, of which I deem one of the Best Survivor Quotes during the series:
