I’ve been looking around the trader classified ads for a Suzuki GSX-R 1100 for under $3000. I’m told that I can get a 1995 or newer for that price, and figure that during the winter I’ll get the best deals.
I owned a 1986 Yamaha FJ1200 when they were first released (1986) and it was the worlds fastest bike at the time. Then along came the GSX-R 1100 and it beat the FJ by 5 tenths of a second quarter mile. It weighed a LOT less too, so the FJ was much more powerful.
I loved that FJ, but, I’m now leaning towards the design of the GSX-R.
